Frisco Association for the Arts and Chamberlain Bring Ballet to Frisco Families

March 8, 2010

Frisco families were treated to a performance of the ballet Peter and the Wolf in early December.  Collin County-based Chamberlain Performing Arts, with funding from the Frisco Association for the Arts, staged the production at the Frisco Branch of the Boys and Girls Club.  The 30-minute ballet – the ideal length to introduce children to classical ballet theater – brought to life the traditional fable of Peter and the Wolf in an exciting and memorable way.  At the end of the performance, which was open to all Collin County residents, the children had the chance to meet the characters, take photos and have autographs signed.  What a great way for local families to celebrate the holidays with the arts!
